Capital Workforce Partners Appoints Charles M. Smith as Chairman of Its Board

Capital Workforce Partners has announced the appointment of Charles M. Smith, director, Human Capital Consulting, J.H. Cohn LLP as chairman of its 40-member Workforce Investment Board. He was recently board treasurer, chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee, and co-chair of the Governance Committee. He has served on the board since 2003.
Capital Workforce Partners is a regional workforce investment board serving 37 municipalities in North Central Connecticut. The board coordinates comprehensive programs for job seekers and employers, and its mission is to leverage public and private resources to produce skilled workers for a competitive regional economy.
