GSBB/J.H. Cohn’s Kristen N. Contreras Named Secretary of LA Chapter of CalCPA

Los Angeles, CA – Kristen N. Contreras, CPA, CISA, CITP, a manager at Good Swartz Brown & Berns, A Division of J.H. Cohn (GSBB/J.H. Cohn), has been appointed secretary of the Los Angeles chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for the 2009-2010 year.
In 2008-2009, Kristen served as a director for the chapter. In addition, she served as vice president of Chapter Administration for the Los Angeles chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
At GSBB/J.H. Cohn, Kristen specializes in financial and IT audit, risk management, and internal controls. A resident of the San Fernando Valley, Kristen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from California State University, Northridge.
