J.H. Cohn’s Scott Sachs Named to Board of LA Jewish Home

Scott Sachs, CPA, regional managing partner – southern California for J.H. Cohn LLP, one of the leading accounting and consulting firms in the United States, has been elected to the board of directors for the Los Angeles Jewish Home’s Eisenberg Village.
Founded in 1912, the Los Angeles Jewish Home is one of the foremost multi-level senior living communities in the United States and the largest single source provider of senior housing in Los Angeles. Fountainview at Eisenberg Village is the Jewish Home’s newest residential option for independent seniors.
Scott is regional managing partner for J.H. Cohn’s three southern California offices in Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, and San Diego. He has more than 20 years of experience serving privately held and public companies in both the emerging and middle markets. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing and distribution, retail, and franchise. His experience includes both initial and secondary public offerings, debt and equity financing, and acquisition and divestiture analysis. Scott has also developed, supervised, and conducted professional development courses in the accounting and audit fields. He was honored twice by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal, once as one of the Valley’s “Top 40 Under 40” (an award that recognizes the accomplishments and community contributions of the San Fernando Valley’s most influential businesspeople) and again as one of the Valley’s Top 25 CPAs.
