Jan Carnevale, CPA Joins J.H. Cohn’s International Tax Services Group

New York, NY – Jan Carnevale, CPA, has joined J.H. Cohn LLP, one of the top 15 accounting and consulting firms in the United States, as a director in the Firm’s International Tax Services Group.
Jan has over 35 years of experience in serving both U.S. and foreign-owned multinational companies in industries including manufacturing and distribution, life sciences, and insurance. He specializes in multi-national acquisitions, restructuring, foreign tax reduction planning, offshore technology and financing planning, and foreign tax credit and subpart F planning.
Before joining J.H. Cohn, Jan was a senior tax partner with an international accounting firm, operating throughout the United States and Europe, where he led U.S. and multi-national tax, due diligence, and post-merger integration teams. As a transaction tax partner with that firm’s New York International Tax Services Group for more than 25 years, and as Director of U.S. Tax Services for Europe in the firm’s London office, Jan has substantial experience in designing and managing tax projects for large multi-national businesses with complex and detailed U.S. and non-U.S. tax issues. He has also led tax due diligence teams comprised of U.S. and non-U.S. federal, state/provincial, and international income and indirect tax personnel; and regularly interfaced with C-level executives.
Jan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he has also served as a member of their International Tax Committee.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, and is licensed to practice public accounting in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
