Lincoln Center Corporate Fund Business Council to Honor Chuck Ludmer of J.H. Cohn LLP

1/27/2010

Charles G. (Chuck) Ludmer, a principal at J.H. Cohn LLP, will be honored by the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund’s Business Council for his outstanding commitment to the arts and culture.

At the event, to be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Credit Suisse headquarters in Manhattan, Lincoln Center President Reynold Levy will present Ludmer with a special edition wristwatch created by Movado to commemorate the Center’s 50th anniversary.   Music will be provided by musicians of The Juilliard School.

“Lincoln Center is known throughout the world for its excellence in developing, promoting, and preserving the best in performance arts. Working in concert with the dedicated members of Lincoln Center to raise unrestricted funds to assist this mission has been one of my most rewarding experiences,” stated Ludmer. “I am humbled to be recognized with this wonderful honor.”

Lincoln Center’s annual Leadership Breakfast honors an individual in the business community who has continuously supported Lincoln Center and the surrounding campus. Hosted by the Lincoln Center Business Council, the event raises unrestricted funds for the 11 resident organizations that the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund supports. Ludmer is a founding member of the Council, which he helped to create in 1995. He is a member of its leadership team, with an active history as chair of numerous committees and a champion of many other cultural organizations in the tri-state area.

As a J.H. Cohn principal, Ludmer serves as the Firm’s chief marketing officer and as international liaison to Nexia International, the world’s tenth largest provider of audit, tax, and business consulting services. He also serves as managing director of the Cohn Affiliated Companies. Outside of J.H. Cohn, Ludmer has served as an adjunct faculty member at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from the College of New Jersey. He and his wife, Lori, reside in Demarest.
