GSBB/J.H. Cohn’s Maier Rosenberg Will Speak At CalCPA “To Inc. Or Not to Inc.” Event

Maier N. Rosenberg, CPA, a partner at Good Swartz Brown & Berns, A Division of J.H. Cohn LLP, will present at a November 4th California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) / San Fernando Valley Bar Association event, titled “To Inc. Or Not to Inc.,” which will focus on how entrepreneurs should set up their companies.

Maier, along with William Staley, Esq., will review strategies and offer examples on what considerations entrepreneurs should keep in mind when deciding how to set up their businesses.  Topics to be addressed include the differences among an LLC, corporation, and partnership. Attendees will learn how recent tax law changes affect the choice of entity, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships.

Maier has more than 30 years of experience providing business advisory, accounting, and auditing services to privately held and public companies. Maier also has extensive experience in performance management consulting.  He works with clients in a range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, and professional services.
