J.H. Cohn’s Cliff Zucker to Participate in Distressed Healthcare Facilities Panel Discussion

Cliff Zucker, CPA, a partner in the Business Investigation Services (BIS) Group of J.H. Cohn LLP, will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Distressed Healthcare Facilities: Warning Signs, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options,” to be presented on October 28 by Greenberg Traurig, LLP and The New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association (NJCCA).

The program, which will be held at Greenberg Traurig’s New Jersey office at 200 Park Avenue in Florham Park, will discuss the impact of the economic crisis on hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities and related companies. Panelists will discuss a variety of topics, including:

- Alternatives to closing distressed facilities;
- Strategies for patient care concerns;
- Navigating health care regulations;
- Employment concerns; and
- Preparing for closing and potential post-closing issues.
